My biography is quite simple. My name is Natalia Moisak, and I was born in 1966 in the village of Osypenko in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. When I think back to my childhood, I remember with gratitude my parents, who lived in poverty but paid attention to moral values in raising their children. In 1976, our family moved and settled in the beautiful and picturesque village of Sukhodil in the Lviv region. This is where I live to this day. Briefly about me, I am an absolutely simple person who currently dreams of a happy future under the peaceful sky of Ukraine. At school, I dreamed of becoming an artist, but I was never able to get the education I needed. After the 10th grade, I entered the Polytechnic Institute at the Department of Architecture, but due to life circumstances, I left my studies in the 2nd year. She worked as an artist at a factory, and later at various jobs not related to art. When she was treating her daughter (cancer), she almost went blind. In 2016, I had a lens implanted and returned to art. I began to exhibit my latest works on canvas on my Facebook page, where I gained favor with Ukrainian connoisseurs. On November 9, 2022, I was awarded the Cultural Diplomacy Prize. In order to develop children’s outlook on the terrorist actions of Russian attackers, I realized my project – I created an illustrated comic book fairy tale with patriotic content called “Victory Flower”.
P.S. In general, art for me is a form of representation of inner feelings and friendly communication with connoisseurs. By the way, I would like to inform you that all my paintings are signed with my maiden name – it’s a small tribute to my parents, whom I loved infinitely…

I looked at the paintings of great artists, marveled at their skill, and tried to recreate something similar.

When I think back to my childhood, I remember with gratitude my parents, who lived in poverty but paid attention to moral values in raising their children. When I graduated from the second grade, our family moved to the beautiful and picturesque village of Sukhodil in the Lviv region. This is where I live to this day. I don’t think it’s necessary to tell the whole story of my life, because there was not much good in it, because “life is not a field to cross”. Briefly about myself, I am an absolutely simple person who currently dreams of a happy future under the peaceful sky of Ukraine. To be honest, for some reason my fate has been connected with hospitals: first my daughter was ill (oncology), then I underwent several surgeries, and now we are fighting for my husband’s life (cancer) – in short, it’s not easy. Nevertheless, art has been curing me of all my troubles since childhood. At school, I dreamed of becoming an artist, but I was never able to get the necessary education. My method was very simple – I painted whatever I liked. I looked at the paintings of great artists, marveled at their skill, and tried to recreate something similar. In 2016, she had a lens implanted and it all started… The long break had its effect, and my painting technique became different. Over time, my hands remembered everything they used to be able to do. Since 2016, I have painted a lot, to be honest, I don’t even remember how many paintings I have presented and sold. I started to exhibit my latest works on my FB page. As for my favorite works, I can say that each of them is dear to me in its own way. Sometimes people ask me what I like to depict on my canvases and what inspires me, and the answer is the same – the beauty of the world around me, the love of life in all its manifestations. For example, the painting “Everything will be Ukraine” was painted during a painful emotional state for the Motherland, the painting “Birds of Peace” conveys my most cherished wish, under the word “PEACE”. “Kalyna Girl”, “Dreams”, “Flower of Hope and Expectations” carry a spiritual protest to the war. In general, I have no education as an artist and I have never had any personal exhibitions and probably never will, it requires money and not small ones. Art for me is a form of representation of inner feelings and friendly communication with connoisseurs.
P.S. By the way, I want to inform you that all my paintings are signed with my maiden name – it’s a small tribute to my parents, whom I loved infinitely…
